Dr. Jill Biden is getting involved to help Operation Gratitude assemble holiday care packages for troops. ABC7 was told Biden's team watched reporter Kristen Powers' story on Good Morning Washington this morning and loved the story!

Biden and retired General Lloyd Austin helped assemble care packages for deployed troops.

Operation Gratitude volunteers are preparing to ship out 20,000 care packages to deployed troops with the support of Veterans United Home Loans and CSX.
