Mind Share Partners is a nonprofit that is changing the culture of workplace mental health so that both employees and organizations can thrive.

We help employers create mentally healthy workplaces through consulting, training, and national movement building. Challenges like anxiety, burnout, and depression are not just an individual employee’s responsibility. They’re a collective responsibility. That’s why our time-tested approach hinges on changing company culture—and using an equity lens to do so.

WHAT WE DO

We help organizations create mentally healthy workplaces.

A University of Oxford study shows no evidence that wellness programs for individual workers—like apps and benefits—improve workplace well-being by themselves. Companies need to start with culture. Culture is like the air we breathe, and the water we swim in. When the air or water quality is poor, it has negative consequences for our health.

We look at a company's policies, procedures, and practices, and their collective impact on employee mental health. Programs like this, according to Deloitte, have a 6:1 ROI.

MInd Share serves as a leading advocacy champion on workplace mental health across the country, producing original research, thought leadership, and media content.

We’ve seen first-hand through our work and advocacy, that when leaders are willing to share their personal mental health stories, it reduces stigma and creates safety for workers to seek support. Leader stories can be shared in team meetings, company all-teams, offsites, and more.

TESTIMONIALS

guru.png

“We hosted Mind Share Partners at Verizon Media for an executive session on mental health. It was an incredible workshop about how to cultivate and facilitate a culture of openness, honesty and transparency to destigmatize mental health. In hindsight, the training came at a crucial moment—before life as we know it was transformed by COVID-19.”

WHY IT MATTERS

Workers want more than traditional benefits and new technologies from employers.

WKS_Productivity...worsen MHC.png

Benefits and new technologies aren't enough.

Our 2023 Mental Health at Work report found that healthy and sustainable cultures of work were rated more helpful than therapy and self-care resources.

ISS_68% hide MHC.png

Stigma is persisting at work.

Only a third of employees feel comfortable talking about their mental health to their colleagues or manager.

There are clear business imperatives.

A joint study by the World Economic Forum and the Harvard School of Public Health forecasts a staggering $6 trillion global expenditure on mental health by 2030.
