EO Charleston represents a select group of the most successful entrepreneurs in the Lowcountry. We are part of a global community that is transforming the world as business leaders within our own community and beyond. EO Charleston plays an integral role in supporting entrepreneurs who in turn support their businesses, industries, local economy, employees, clients and their families and friends. We are leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow. We are EO Charleston!
Since 1987, EO has provided entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn and grow from each other, leading to greater business success and enriching personal lives. The EO community is unlike any group in the world. It’s truly one of a kind and spans 60 countries, supporting 15,000+ business leaders.

It started with 3!
Haig Berberian, Brannon Poe and John LaVerne took the lead on bringing EO to Charleston. In 2018, after the three Charleston-area entrepreneurs experienced EO’s worldwide conference in Toronto, they were convinced that Charleston’s business leaders could no longer go without an EO chapter. Over the next year, the three worked with EO’s global team to provide events and programs to identify motivated entrepreneurs interested in helping to build the world’s most influential community of entrepreneurs. Fast forward to July 2019, EO Charleston was chartered as an official EO chapter with 16 founding members, becoming EO’s first chapter in the state of South Carolina.
