Good verging on great

In-depth investigation on the most pressing news of the day. Occasionally they create an episode that feels more like content, rather than news.
My Fav
2d ago
I’ve been a dedicated listener for over 5 years. This is the first podcast I go to on my morning drive or when I walk the dogs. The team does a great job of capturing complex issues and passing on just enough so we feel informed. The regular news is so heavy an dramatic, I would much rather listen to Michael and his endearing pauses.
Status Quo Machine
2d ago
This podcast has become a status quo enforcement machine and I hope it finds its way someday.
Epstein Coverage
2d ago
If the latest episode was infuriating to hear, go listen to the TrueAnon podcast for better coverage of the subject from a leftist perspective. Liberal corporate media has done a great job discrediting anything regarding the Epstein case by labeling it as a “right wing conspiracy theory” and attaching it to Qanon, and pizzagate crankery.
Camp Mystic

TY for your take on Camp Mystic. It covered all the feels for me and left me with the only sane conclusion - I don’t know
If you want news from ONlY the political lefts point of view, you may like this show.

I have no problem if this show wants to be biased, and favor the political left, or even if they only tell one side of the story as they do. But they refuse to own what they are! This program lies to their listeners and claim it’s straight unbiased news. It is not. It’s Democrats telling people ONLY what Democrats want to hear. Nothing more. If you own what you are, people might understand. Until you stop lying about what you are, you only get one star.
Great show!

It informative, fair and appealing. It is so appealing that the people who complain about the show listen to it every day 🤣
Gloom and Doom

The unrelenting torrent of terrible news is extremely unhealthy for your listeners. I went back through the archives and can’t a single episode that was not tragic I’m well aware of the turmoil in the world. However, it’s not the end of the world. Unless people only listen to your podcast which makes no mention of ANYTHING positive. Even though I have been a subscriber from day one. I’m done. You people are doing great harm by reporting only on the tragic. Unsubscribing. Until you take into account your incessant fear mongering and the toll it takes on your listeners.
Not the show it used to be
4d ago
I’ve been a listener of The Daily since pretty much the beginning, but lately I’ve been considering unsubscribing. The content and the quality have both fallen off. Sometimes I wonder if they’re just trolling for engagement and don’t care about truly informing their audience at all. I find myself fast forwarding past the long form story of the day more often lately just to get to the two minute news blurb at the end. The current hosts seem incapable of asking probing questions and just accept any and all statements made by interviewees at face value. It’s truly disappointing, but I would encourage listeners to seek out other news podcasts as there are many more great options now than when I first started listening.
You helped this happen

For a ‘paper of record that supports free speech’ you all signed your own DW and ushered this whole thing into existence. Screw you
